About
Shaping the future, one plan at a time
Adaptive Innovations was started on a simple observation: most people don't get let down by their NDIS plan, they get let down by the gap between the plan and the people meant to deliver it.
We're a small, deliberately independent South Australian practice. Small caseloads mean you speak to the person who knows your file — not a queue.
Nicholas Duffield
Support Coordinator & Specialist Support Coordinator
Nicholas has spent years on several sides of the disability sector — coordination, service delivery and the business end of running provider organisations. That mix is the point: he knows how providers price, roster and prioritise, which makes it much harder for a participant to be quietly deprioritised.
He works across Level 2 and Level 3 coordination, with particular experience in complex, high-risk situations where several systems are involved at once — health, housing, justice and mental health.
Placeholder bio — send us Nicholas's real background and qualifications and we'll swap this out.
How we work
Independent, always
We don't deliver the supports we recommend, and we don't take referral fees. If we suggest a provider, it's because they fit you.
Plain language
No acronym soup. Everything gets explained in words that make sense, and repeated as often as you need.
Culturally safe
Your culture, identity, language and community shape how supports should work. We plan around them, not past them.
